Facts: A versatile, aromatic herb, rosemary can be used in a variety of dishes as well as being used as a scent in perfumes, in insect repellants and its various medicinal uses. It is a member of the mint family and is usually found growing near the ocean, hence its latin name which equates to "dew of the sea".
Storage: In a plastic bag or a glass of water in the fridge.
Preparation and cooking: Rinse before use. Rosemary is great in fruit salads, in soups, with lamb dishes, stuffings, dressings and even desserts.
