Country of origin:    Israel                                                        Weight: 50g bunch

Facts: Brought by the Romans to Britain, who used it in sauces, as an aid to digestion and as a mouth freshener, mint has been around for a very long time!  It has a variety of uses, from mint jelly and sauces to cleaning wounds to a vermin deterrent - it is disliked by rats and mice!  It is also a great natural cooling agent so is excellent for sunburnt skin!

Storage: Best kept in the fridge.

Preparation and cooking: Rinse before use.  Mint can be used for jellys, sauces, put in with new potatoes to add flavour, or used to make a tea to settle an upset tummy.
