Facts: Chervil is a fern-like, feathery herb that is related to the carrot family. It is a sensory herb which smells like anise and parsley and has a warm flavour. It is widely used in French cooking and is also known as Cicily, French Parsley or Cerfeuil.

Preparation and cooking: Rinse before use. Chervil goes well with eggs, fish, asparagus, potatoes, in light sauces and vinegar-based sauces.
